Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes. Our jars are recyclable. They are plastic #1, which is the easiest to recycle. We’ve explored using glass jars. However, it takes tremendous energy to make and recycle glass, plus glass is very energy-intensive to transport because of its weight, so we do not believe it would be greener than recyclable plastic. We continue to search for ways to make our packaging more sustainable. In the meantime, we are big fans of reusing Empowered jars. They are the perfect size for storing all kinds of things!
